Linley Edmeades

I have retired from clinical work after many years expereience in the area of pelvic health physiotherapy. I offer advice and education in this area.

I have worked in a variety of physiotherapy settings over the last forty years from small hospitals (Tokoroa, and Opotiki) to tertiary centres (Waikato Hospital). and in my own private practice.

I have worked in many areas of physiotherapy practice and have developed a wide range of skills and an ability to assess and make a plan according to each individual. This means that you will receive unique infomration and education specific to your needs.

I love  working in this area and have been  in this field for the last forty years.

I also have experience in using the Alexander Technique for restoring functional movement patterns and changing old patterns of misuse to give your body a chance to work freely.





Qualifications: I have a Diploma of Physiotherapy (1977 ATI), a Diploma in Herbal Medicine (1998) and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Continence Management (Otago 2006). I attend regular activities for professional development.






I am always working to ensure that the quality of my service is of the highest standard by:

  • seeking expertise of other specialists when necessary
  • having a research based approach
  • undertaking a regular review of my knowledge
