I work in the specialised area of pelvic health physiotherapy. I see people both around Hamilton and further afield, who travel to see me in my Hamilton-based clinic. I have worked in a variety of physiotherapy settings over the last twenty years from small hospitals (Tokoroa, and Opotiki) to tertiary centres (Waikato Hospital).
I have worked in many areas of physiotherapy practice and have developed a wide range of skills and an ability to assess and make a plan according to each individual. This means that you will have a unique treatment and rehabilitation plan specific to your needs.
I love working in this area and have been specializing in this field for the last twenty years.
I also have experience in using the Alexander Technique for restoring functional movement patterns and changing old patterns of misuse to give your body a chance to work freely.

Qualifications: I have a Diploma of Physiotherapy (1977 ATI), a Diploma in Herbal Medicine (1998) and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Continence Management (Otago 2006). I attend regular activities for professional development.
Memberships: NZ Society of Physiotherapists (NZSP), NZ Continence Association, NZ College of Physiotherapy (Advanced Practitioner: Continence and Women's Health)
I am always working to ensure that the quality of my service is of the highest standard by:
- documenting the treatment I provide and giving you a copy if requested
- seeking expertise of other specialists when necessary
- having a research based practice
- undertaking a regular review of my practice
- taking regular breaks and holidays (I will inform you of these times)
